Laureling Ceremony for Mistress Catherine Grace Fitzlewis
The Laureling Ceremonies for Mistress Catherine Grace Fitzlewis took place at Pennsic XXXVI (36). Ansel was notified late on the evening of August 5th of their Majesties' intent to put Catherine on vigil for her Laurel the following evening at Atlantian court. So, thanks to the help of our friends in Vair & Ermine (you guys absolutely rock!), everything for the vigil and Laureling ceremony was prepared, and pulled off beautifully with less than 24 hours notice. The last bit of business in Atlantian court, on the Wednesday evening of August 6th, was for Catherine to be put on vigil for her Laureling. She was put on vigil at about 7pm that night, and we ended the vigil at 1am Thursday morning. We went back to camp for a little rest, and returned to Vair & Ermine for the Laureling ceremony at 9am.
Thanks to Genvieve, Isobel, and Rowland, we have all of the photos you see here.
